 
	Ingredients:
  
	
2 black sapotes
1 cup boiling water 
2 cups plain flour
¾ cup sugar
1 Tbl butter
 
1 cup dates
1 tsp bi-carb soda
Method:
 
Place dates, butter and sugar in a small saucepan, pour in 1 cup boiling water, let it stand to cool a little.
Add black sapote pulp. Add soda and flour mix well.
Pour into a greased loaf tin and cook in a moderate oven for 45 minutes.
Serve cold, sliced, with butter.
